For this third episode of Lend Me Your Ears, we documented the one-day poetry event organized by Trixie and the Words off the Page collective.

Words off the Page attempts to re-imagine the space where writing belongs and redefine the practice as something multifaceted and dynamic, shifting its boundaries. For this event Words off the Page put out an open call and invited performance artists and poets within their network to perform essays, thoughts, rants, grocery lists, emails and more for the public. This was part of a weekend-long program at artist-run space Trixie. Led by a diverse group of young artists, Trixie is an initiative that encourages artistic production through collaboration and exchange. Trixie runs a public program, inviting diverse groups of artists to experiment with alternative presentation strategies and expand their practice, network and audience with the use of our space and resources.
