Artists: Ien Lucas, Mat van der Heijden, Johan de Wit, Judith Maria Kleintjes, Marian Bijlenga

Spring has definitely begun at Galerie Ramakers with this rather positive and sparkling group exhibition. A preview. Drawings with budding plants by Judith Maria Kleintjes and some ceramic wall objects she made several years ago at the Ceramic Work Center.
Marian Bijlenga shows her latest series Scattered Nature. Horsehair, stitched textiles, sometimes with leather, poetic, a sophisticated series. Because it comes off the wall a subtle shadow play is created.
Ien Lucas will exhibit 2 large paintings with horizontal and vertical transparent layers of rounded rectangles and of course some of her notes will be on display.
Johan de Wit will not only show an installation, his minimal monochrome "cushion" works and some romantic still life paintings, all made of paper, are also on display.
Mat van der Heijden made a 5-meter long work on board with oil paint and wool, consisting of 40 parts. Also on display are his humorous "poem" drawings.
